Top 10 sports memories for 2011

It was a mixed year - 2011. There were some incredible highs as well as some bitter lows for the teams and players that I like and support. It was definitely NOT as good as 2010 had been... from the perspective of the teams I follow.

Here are my top-10 sports memories (the pleasant as well as the unpleasant ones) from the year 2011 (sorted chronologically):

1. Cricket: England Win The Ashes 3-1 (7th January)

The Ashes had been retained already, but Australia had a chance to regain some pride after two innings losses. The redemption did not come, as England got their third innings win of the series as they sealed the Ashes win 3-1. It was a masterclass performance from the English side, bowling out Australia for 280 and 281, and scoring 644 themselves. Alastair Cook continued his golden run with 189 runs and the Man of the Match award. Playing without Ricky Ponting, who had injured himself at the Boxing Day Test of 2010-11, the Michael Clarke - led Australian team lost the Ashes at home for the first time in 24 years.

2. Cricket: ICC World Cup (2nd April)

I have far too many memories from this event. That is why I have already compiled a separate post of my World Cup Memories. But there is hardly any doubt that this was one of the highlights of the year in the game of cricket... and an event worth remembering! India became the World Champions for the first time in 28 years, becoming the first team to win the finals at home.

3. Tennis: Djokovic Rules At Wimbledon (3rd July)

It was the top-seed defending champion Rafael Nadal of Spain against the form player of the year and usurper of the No. 1 rank Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the Gentlemen's Singles Final at the 125th edition of the Wimbledon Championships. Djokovic won in 4 sets, and plucked out a few strands of the Wimbledon grass to put in his mouth. He was savouring the taste of his victory... quite literally! It was a difficult match to watch for a Nadal fan like me... mainly because he had been outplayed completely by the Serbian. Djokovic broke the Federer-Nadal duopoly for the No. 1 rank that lasted almost 7 and a half years.

4. Football: Japanese Women Triumph In Germany (17th July)

Ordinarily, this event would not have made my top-10 list. But this was not an ordinary year for Japan. The great earthquake and tsunami of March 2011 had left almost 16000 people dead, 6000 injured and 3500 missing. The aftershocks of the earthquake continued till June 2011, when the Japanese women began their FIFA Women's World Cup campaign in Germany. In this backdrop, they won the finals on penalties against one of the two favourites - United States of America, having already beaten the other favourite - hosts and defending champions Germany - in the Quarterfinals. It was an emotional moment for Japan, watched by huge crowds in Germany and a fitting end to an immensely successful World Cup!

5. Cricket: England Complete Whitewash (22nd August)

The No. 1 spot in Test cricket had already been sealed with a win in the third Test. But that was never going to stop England, as they emphatically completed a whitewash over India to stamp their status as the top team in Tests. It was extremely difficult to watch that performance from England as an Indian fan... the only solace being the realisation that the English squad was far superior. The wounds of this drubbing will take a ~~long~~ very long time to disappear... and even then, they may never disappear completely.

6. Rugby: All Blacks Win At Home (23rd October)

The hosts won the Rugby World Cup for the first time in 16 years (after the Springboks 1995) in a closely fought finale at Eden Park, Auckland. Like the Japanese women's FIFA World Cup win, this win for the All Blacks too came in a year where Christchurch had been affected by a big earthquake... so much so that some matches (including a quarterfinal) had to be moved out of that city due to the destruction caused. The All Blacks have always been an exciting team to watch... and there is no denying that they were the best team of the tournament, winning every single match they played.

7. Formula One: Inaugural Indian Grand Prix (30th October)

A few years ago, I would have said it's unfathomable so early! But in 2011, it actually happened. Buddh International Circuit hosted the inaugural Indian Grand Prix Formula One race weekend from 28th October to 30th October 2011... and apart from a small interruption due to a stray dog during the first practice session on Friday, it was a smooth affair. Karun Chandok set the first ever flying lap time on the circuit during the first practice session on Friday. Sebastian Vettel won the with his Red Bull car, both the Force India cars (Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta) managed to score points and Narain Karthikeyan finished at 17th position - equaling his season best with the Hispania Racing Team. Formula One had come to India!

8. Cricket: South Africa 96, Australia 47 (10th November)

What a day of cricket! If I tell you that the day started with visitors adding 70 runs for the last 2 wickets and ended with the hosts scoring 81 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket, then you might be forgiven for thinking that a lot of the day's play might have been washed out. It is scarcely conceivable that in between these 151 runs for 3 wickets, Cape Town witnessed the fall of 20 wickets for 143 runs! So the final equation - 23 wickets, 294 runs, 79.3 overs and a part of all four innings played out in one day! I watched Australia slump to 21 for 9, and then had to miss out on the rest of their innings as I was to go out. Their 10th wicket pair's 26 run partnership saved them the embarrassment of recording the lowest ever total in a Test innings, and ended up being greater than the sum of all their other 9 partnerships!

9. Cricket: Sehwag Also Crosses The 200 Barrier (8th December)

A lot of people believed that he would be the first man to do so. He wasn't... his idol was! But 652 days after Tendulkar had done so, Sehwag too breached the 200-run barrier in Men's ODI cricket and relegated that 200* (147b, 25 x 4s, 3 x 6s) to the second spot amongst the highest runs scored by a batsman in an ODI innings. The top spot is now occupied by a 219 (149b, 25 x 4s, 7 x 6s)... a phenomenal knock that could even have been a 250! Like it happened with the Tendulkar 200, I missed this occasion too. Atleast in case of the 200*, I had seen Tendulkar bat till he was about 130-odd... but this time, I was reduced to just following the scores on my cell phone. But the highlights were good enough to make you realise what a special knock that was!

10. Cricket: Sri Lanka Move On From Murali (29th December)

South Africa humiliated them in the 1st Test. There was hardly anyone predicting a win for the Sri Lankans before the 2nd Test began. But the Durban jinx struck again. Sri Lanka put up a stupendous performance to beat South Africa in the 2nd Test and level the series at 1-1, subjecting the hosts to their 4th consecutive loss at Kingsmead, Durban. The most important thing was that this was Sri Lanka's first Test win in almost a year and a half since the retirement of Muttiah Muralitharan. I was wondering when Sri Lanka would start winning again... for their year had gone nowhere but down after they had been beaten in the World Cup finals in Mumbai. This match ensured that they finished it on the right note!

There were many other moments worth remembering in 2011 - Sri Lanka's capitulation against England at Cardiff, Zimbabwe's brilliant comeback to Test cricket, Na Li becoming the first Asian woman to win a Grand Slam singles title at Roland Garros, Rafael Nadal's 6th French Open win, Jo Wilfried Tsonga's win over Roger Federer in the Wimbledon quarterfinal coming from 2 sets down, Novak Djokovic out-Rafa-ing Rafael Nadal to win his first US Open title, Manchester United losing the derby to Manchester City at home 1-6, numerous clashes between Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa during the Formula One season, and many more! Looking forward to another exciting year full of great sporting action... Happy 2012 to everyone!

marathon or bootcamp!!!

starts this year, i had enter 2 marathon event which is the standard chartered run and the adidas run.. now i will be running 10k for nike run this coming sunday. maybe i cannot go because i have
a bootcamp training on monday.. that bootcamp will be my first day. marathon on sunday. then monday for bootcamp. will tyre me off..plus if i go to marathon, my feet will hurt so bad.maybe because of my flat feet.

either marathon or bootcamp..help me out..:(

what will be my ideal assistant?

i need somebody who can assist me on all issues with professional attitude. i want somebody who works not just for me but for the company. somebody who cares about the company growth. somebody who can sit beside you helping with business activities. somebody who can do more what been ask for.

really need that type of character for my assistant. hardest thing to find are finding the right people.

not like, everymorning and everytime looking for facebook, gossip news, shopping online, baby shopping and etc..

just do what the task given..even more, out of the office on time, no extra effort. doesn't impress me at all..

but still all the task given are finish..probably thats ok for the time being..but i do think i need somebody better.

probably i go for man instead of woman.

Probably all people don't know ART CONNECTIVITY (M) SDN BHD. a company within TRI GROUP which run and taking care of by me..hehe..

Funded by TRI SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD ( i thank you for that), but managed by me.

Originally the company is a principle of brand for Structured cabling system call ART. its an OEM brand. manufactured in CHINA but repackaging and rebranding here. then we market our stuff to all other companies who need it. kind like selling nike stuff to other shops.

now, everything have change..the mission was simple. ART = TRI. so ART have to go the same path with TRI. As an system integrator companies.

From zero to loads, now ART have register most of the government body which all contractor have to register. MOF to ST to PKK to TM to TNB to UM to CIDB and much more..

Now with the help of people in TRI Group, ART had secure some projects with JKR, UM, TNB and many other companies.

but, this is only beginning. my aim is to create the best the company can be.. i want the company bigger than ever. from few people to large people working in this company. I hope i can be the best.. wish i can have a mentor which i can follow.. so far i had to do what others told me to do.

i wish i can do more..make my own decision. get bigger projects.. so i can have a better life with my family. AMIN...

a lof of things i have to learn.. how to manage people is the hardest one. to get the right people is the key to success for longetivity of the company.

i'm back

Its been a long time since I wrote this blog..so much happen the past few years. Now I m staying in kota damansara, msia. Working with my brother in law as ICT contractor. Totally different wiht my previous job as an accountant. So a lot of new things I've learnt so far as if I'm a businness man at this momemnt.

I'm a married man right now. Got hitched with wan nadrah wan hashim on april 2011. Good news lads, baby is on the way..I will become a father. Feels great..can't wait to have one. But I felt a big responsibilitycoming up. So I have to prepare for it. I hope its not too hard being a dad. Expecting on january 2012. Probaby the same birth date as me.

my mum just txt me, she dreams i want kuih2 to be sent to dublin by courier..so she wants to buy the kuih2 today..apa yang sedap?..xtau nama tu yang susah tu..tau makan je, tapi xtau nama kuih tu apa..slalu mkn yang ada coklat pastu..ada sweet2 skit..

mlm tadi, finish our tag rugby autumn league..first of all matches the condition were very bad..raining and windy..made us did so many error on our handling of the ball..but with determination and spirit, we mange to pull a win of 9-5 against THE CROWS( second in the league).. last nite win made us undefeated in the league..top of the table..sapu bersih la..hehe..
we got most tries and less conceded points in the league..

i scored 2 tries but still gelabah skit..lupa plak xde tag lagi time ada penalti..adui...

nk balik msia bulan 12, tapi x beli tiket lagi..nmpak gaya air asia la aku..hehe..

how come dlm tag rugby training i perform cm best player gile..but in real game, blur pastu dh la kena marah..kadang2 perform gak..n kadang2 tak..takat jadi sub je skang..org nk main as dlm first 7..nk jadi star player..maybe cuak kut or gelabah..damn it...

or i need more time to play..takat jadi sub je, brapa minit la sgt..org ckp pancit tukar..tp kekadang dorang pancit taknak plak tukar.-

pastu, now i like to play left or right of the field or suka support org yg dpt bola tu..suka gak main middle..but in middle kena main cm playmaker..move the ball to the right or to the left..

senang ckp i ni utility..serba boleh kut..hehe..

this year, bukak puasa lmbat dlm pkl 8.50..gile kan..lebih 14 jam ni puasa..tp sabar je la.ni la akibat duk oversea lama2..cm next year nk balik je..ke mmg dh nmpak cm nk balik je next year..

semua org tgh kecoh pasal puasa start hari ni ke or sabtu..sebab other countries stat puasa hari sabtu. ireland and uk je puasa hari ni..pelik kan.. xtau.. jgn raya lmbat sehari dh..hehe..

ni kat ofis, tgh berpuasa..nasib sejuk kat ofis..so lega la skit..tp ngantuk ok..penat pun ada.

anyway, i am here now at my office doing semi annual financials for my company..mostly finish..just wait for my director to check my figures.

this summer, i played a lot of tag rugby..yup..its team malaya..after 2 months of playing, finally we won the league and Plate finals in the ALL ireland finals. the pics was on the facebook..now team malaya are well known to other teams in tag rugby ireland. proud to be part of it..

it began 2 years ago, when me and jeff discuss about building a msian tag rugby team since theres a lot of msian playing rugby in ireland..after bit of pieces got together, now here we are..the champion..for myself, there is a good story i want to tell..after injured, got operate, got into rehab and physio..finally it worth for cz now i'm play again and i've been involved in this great season.

so far, i'm still doing CIMA..bile la nk abis ni..next year there will a lot of change gonna apply to the syllabus..so i have to pass 2 paper for this coming sitting..i want to pass this time..please..i have to change myself first before i can change the exam score..it is not easy to change myself to be a better person..but i'm still trying..

for my life, there someone told me i have to balance both sports and social life..i think thats correct..i been spent most of my time working, gym and sports..not so much for my private life..so now i' ll try to do this..hopefully somebody will notice it..

most of my friend had started begin new chapter of their lives..engagement x pun marriage..even my roomate during boarding school pun just married during bank holiday..i was so schock but happy for them..hopefully my time will come..but now cm nampak skit je..hehe..

co i nk kena take over by credit agricole..one of the big companies in the world..so after bulan 10 or 11, i can know what is my status in this company, i want to stay for another year..but rase cm nk balik msia je..tgk la cmne keadaan..go with the flow je..

I'm going to london tommorrow to watch IRB london Sevens..can't wait to go see all black, fiji, australia and couple more teams that participate.

several years ago, there had msian sevens at kelana jaya..i didn't miss a year..every year i went there. but since the msian organiser went bankrupt..so the IRB board made a decision that there will be no more tournament in Malaysia..every rugby fans were devastated including me..but, now i'm here..i can watch at london..i always want to go to london to watch this. but something came up..but now, i no more excuses..just go..

first hilton hotel i will stay using my own money..hehe..so which team i will support..dont know yet..but will tell you after i get back from london on sunday..

10 of april, easter holiday..most people are sitting at home spend time with the family or going to places for trip n etc..for me, sitting at the office doing my work..yup there's load of stuff that need to be done..query from the auditors plus my quater end report need to finish..

last wednesday, was a black day for SOciete Generale, 1/5 got fires i assume as global company. in ireland..we had 5-8 people suddenly lost their job..i was scared for mine..but gratefully i'm safe for now..so thank god for that..

wondering what will be like if i lost my job..probably sitting at home looking for another job or packing my stuff going back to msia..but, is there any job for me in msia or the world..nowadays are recession time and global economy become worse everyday.

i dont know..so for me, cut cost for travelling and shopping..send money to my parents is important in my life rite now.also, i have house loan to pay in msia.please i want to stay in ireland or anywhere where i can live peacefully and doing what i do best..

i had a weird dream last couple of days..wishing some of them are not true and ain't gonna happen.sigh.....mengeluh panjang..

i got a tummy bug from somewhere..so hari ni cuti..hehe..today pagi2 dh kluar jln2 window shopping..window shopping tv, kasut jogging, kasut bola, camera, laptop n food..hehe..

dh la byk keje..bleh plak cuti..mati aku esok..

news want to share, probably i will not go belfast..cz i injured my self..plus i got this bug in my tummy..this whole week x pegi gym langsung..duk lepak kat dlm bilik gua ni..

We are the champions of cardiff..yahoo..hehe..

after hard work on the gym and training with the guys, finally paid off..gladly i done something i'm proud about..

On 28 of march 09, the tournament began..there a lot of new team with new faces...also teams from International like korea, Hong Kong and China were there too..they all studies in cardiff..hehe..first i thougt they all came from their countries just for the tournament..gila la..

our road to the final was very difficult..tested our nerves both physically and mentally. we got indian team playing with us in the grouping..then we met Hong kong in qtr finals. that match was tough..i think i hurt my back during that game..Hong kong team was big and strong.. then in the semis, we met CHINA. also a strong team..muka2 player cm baru balik dr shaolin temple..sebijik muka cm jet li pun ada..tendang bola pun kuat gila..all people on cardiff supported us if we msian playing with CHINA..haha...

then in the finals, we met ANg's team..glasgow..playing in a big pitch surrounding with a lots of people..all our players were tired and suffered minor injuries..but we went through the pain and finally become champions..

but, came with a price..i just got back from my physio..i have to rest for 2 weeks because of my back pain..no competitive match for me..just nice to prepare for cork games.

marathon ni pun x sure lagi..but i pegi lagi jumpa physio on friday to see if i can join the marathon.hopefully i'll be ok..i have with me all the exercise to do with my back problem...so just keep doing that everyday.

on st patrick day..duk rumah je..layan cite gran torino..best gk cite tu..pastu main bola from pkl 5 smpai 7 ptg..selalu main 100 % all out..tu pasal demam esok nye..hehe..patut duk rumah je..layan movie lagi..nyesal pun ada.

on 5th april , i masuk marathon which is great ireland run..dh dpt pack stuff from them smlm..my number will be 5256..siap dpt baju nike free lagi.insya masuk tv in RTE TWO..hahaha...confirm pancit..so i rase nk jogging dulu..then jalan la..cz on 4th april tu pegi belfast ada tournament bola..so confirm tired and muscle pun sakit after bola..but try la dulu..cz this is my first marathon since merentas desa kat skolah..from form 2 untill form 5 i slalu dpt top ten dlm merentas desa kat skolah..tu pasal kurus kt skolah..form 1 x dpt la..cz time tu gemuk..hehe..

tgh baca instruction n tips for the marathon..hope my friends will come to phoenix park to see me muntah2 or pengsan2 kat finish line..malu doe..

Rite now, i'm at the office..trying to publish the accounts on the intranet of my company..have getting difficulties on Investment in B shares..quite difficulty with all the regulations..plus the intranet controls before it can publish..aargh....well, this is work...just do it..

now my bro xde kat dublin..he went to paris with his family..so i have to jaga rumah dia..mmg la best..dpt main game time break lunch..hehe..then bawak kete pegi merayau..tp xde la merayau sgt..cz duk bz ngn keje kan.. from 9 am tu 7-8 pm..x gile lagi than msia..

due to economy crisis, i'm glad i still have a job..n still my wage increase and also i got a bonus..but not much as last year. but still ber syukur la..my dad siap cm nk buat sedekah lagi kat masjid..tp i x decide lagi..ape nk kasi kat masjid..duit la kut..mothers day coming up..so i nk kasi kek secret recipe kat my mum..my sis ckp dorang nk pegi bukit tinggi on this wednesday..so i nk kasi on selasa la..if sempat lagi..try book online mlm ni..

thank god after the games, i was ok n feeling good. we got 2nd place in the tournament. i play 7 out of 8 matches from group stages until the final. naza was injured, so i step in to play his role. a wing back..my prefer role in the middle of the field..but as long as i'm playing, i can play anywhere..i'm happy for that.
group stages was ok..we got second in the group.one draw and 4 wins..then we met stafford in the qtr..we won by 1 nil courtesy from our best buy player from manchester safwan. then we met our old classic enemy..liverpool..we got draw untill came to penalties..we kept our nerves and our confidence was high..we won by 3-2 penalties..
In the finals, we fought against the home team..birmingham..which the team was so consistently manage been in the finals in any competitions..we have confidence and our mentality was strong..but luck was not our side..we lost 2-0 in the end. we could have the lead in the first minute..but faiq's strike hit the post..n also erie's..
happy note was erie won the man of the match trophy n rizal won the best keeper in the tournament.congrats to them..for me, thanks again for giving me another opportunity to play again in the tournament after long lay off..one year je pun..hehe..so my comeback in 2009 was almost complete..so keeping up the good work..:)

its been a while i didn't write something on this blog..probably because i do have so much goin on rite now..so lame excuses..probably because i do want more action rather than words came out from my mouth.

Rite now, i am very tired. cz i just got back from barcelona late last nite. went there from saturday until monday.. barcelona was great. i like shopping..mostly zara and the food. now i like paella n tapas so much. the town was so big and fascinating..i dont get enough time to visit all the tourist spot but i did manage some of it like the sagrada, park gueill, park montjuic and la ramblas. thanks to my friend accompany me during the trip..i had so much fun..yes..fun...hehe..
my first visit to FC barcelona stadium which is the nou camp.. went there to see the match fc barca v espanyol..its a local derby match..but the match was not that great as expected..too much aggressive tackle flying in and cards shown by the referree..destroying the beautiful game of football..second trip probably want to tour the stadium.able to speak some spanish words along the way, like gracias, ci, quenta, buenos noches, puto.......PUTO....hahaha...

i went back to malaysia couple weeks ago..that was even better..able to meet old friends, went to Bali, went to kenduri kawin, makan durian n rambutan, able to play futsal..important, get to celebrate my bday with my parents and family.. its the perfect 2 weeks i had..but the time is so fast, i not able to do some that i wish i do. but still, i hope i goin back again this year depending on the financial crisis.

so much goin on to my rite now..i dont know what to do..so i did list some targets i want to achieve this year..just thinking on how to do it.

This morning i went to Tallaght hospital to meet Dr Maurice Nelligan who was responsible for my knee operation in March 08.. went there just to follow up and check the progress i made on my knee. the doctor said it was very fine and perfect..nothing more he can do. he said keep up with the gym and play safely..also wearing knee guard for one year..so this is my last visit to the hospital then..so happy..thanks to doctors,parents, brother and sister, friends, crunch fitness, nike, maximuscle and joint ace for keeping me doing what i do like.hehe..sports that is..

so no more rough sport i suppose.but tag rugby coming up on march. even sheffield games on march too..

my fren asked me if i want to join them to go Amsterdam again. in 2009, i would like to go place that i never been before. so my next destination will be:

nearest will be barcelona..prob around 20 feb onwards..so i can watch fc Barcelona entertain Espanyol in Nou Camp Stadium. then go to manchester to see my team playing in European Champions League againts Inter Milan on March. Cant wait to see Jose Mourinho face again. but that game wil be on wednesday night. so probably flying on wednesday noon..then take a day off on thursday or going back to work on thursday after lunch..wait and see.

Just finish my call with auditor from PWC..it was ok..but i think there will be more question ask from them. this is first time with PWC..usually with KPMG. so they want to know every details on control and compliance thing.but thats work..so keep on it..

Call my sister this morning, my niece answered. we spoke in English. even her english was better than me. i was impressed.she told that they were all playing in the water pool. kinda miss them. my sister want plastic bags from harrods for the kids. wow, food bag for school from Harrods..pergh...

i bought a flight to london on 9th Jan..sponsor by my sis..nk kena settlekan barang2 dia beli masuk kan dlm kotak for shipping..total all stuff is 30 kg..i can bring my old cloth for shipping too..kasi kat cousin2 kat kampung..if i think about it, cm byk je nk bawak balik..

today went some shopping for cousin2 n frens in malaysia..ada lagi benda x jumpa.dorang pesan susah gile nk cari..probably cari kat london..if ada masa..time kat london..confirm la pegi makan je keje..

bad news for GBE..my mate NAQI got injured during futsal training.he twisted his left knee.same problem with me..just advise be positive and stay strong..thats all i can tell him..all the pain and suffer had i experienced before..so i know.wishing him well for the future..hope he can come back playing..truly shock when somebody is in peak of his fitness then suddenly got injured just in a flash..disappointed but life must go on...for me..keep the rehab going..fit is my goal,lose weight pun..yeke???smlm main bola sejam, hari training 2 jam..ckp la kut..

i went shopping kat london..bahaya la london..especially time sale..best tul..byk gile benda dh la murah..

nasib la x bawak duit byk..if not, then i already bought ipod touch, tv lcd 32 inch samsung, and a fon.

but i bought two pairs of guess jeans, a bally bag, an armani belt, quicksilver cap, polo shirt, superdry t shirt, nintendo wii pack, clinique happy for men and givenchy for men perfume and a knitwear from zara.

kat london, ramai gile org malaysia..cm rase kat kl or kat one utama..rindu malaysia..x sabar nk balik..ada lagi 2 weeks..x beli lagi for parents and org2 pesan lagi..mati..

my sis lagi la..byk lagi shopping dr i..yela..for a family of one husband, 4 kids and two bibik..hehe..

maybe i kena pegi london next week, cz my sis nk shipping a box for all the stuff she bought..so i kena uruskan..but have to wait from mas airlines for confirmation of upgrading from economy to business class.bleh topup weight baggage..i nk pegi london lagi..x sempat nk jln2..hehe.

fuhh..kenyang gile ok...asyik mkn je if lepak with my sister..smlm msian hall je yg bukak..so kitorang dh jadi muka regular customer dh...i dh 4 kali masuk mkn msian hall..3 kali with family..then 4th one with member..ramai gak i jumpa member..budak2 junior skola pun jumpa..so i belanja dorang mkn..then we talked about jenan..then gossip bebudak..lama doe tak jumpa this 2 budak jr..one call prof and one call arif..dh 8 tahun kut tak jumpa..gila kan..mmg jejak kasih abis la kat msian hall..siap peluk2 lagi..hahaha...then jumpa shah n his friends..lepak kat kedai arab layan shisha..smpai midnight..tu je la kut..

nasib msian hall makan best..got all food..yang tak tahan tu ada plak roti telur..kuah kari then teh tarik..pergh..terbaik..

yesterday went to cambridge then oxford..then went around london..my sister said she's freezing..tak rasa dublin lagi..haha..

one news could be a shock for me...my in law offer me a job in his company as a financial controller...starting with 3k first..then based on performance..u can increase depend on your boss.hehe..pastu my sis said balik la msia..bleh jaga2 kan parents..bila lagi nk balik..nanti nyesal...ajal x kemana..offer is untill this march..so if i accept..then i balik on april i think..hehe.

this weekend i watched old hindi movie..mostly from shah rukh khan.. kabhi kushi kabhi gam n mohabatein..asbolutely touching..hehe..i don't know about u guys, but i love hindi movie especially shah rukh khan in it..when i was little, me n my mom will sit together watching hindi moive every friday n sunday evening..remember when my mom was crying watch one movie..cant remember the title..sorry..lepak at 70 ivy exchange.. speak with my friends when i was in YPM cheras..sanggup pegi GSC mid valley on wednesday nite, alone watching hindi movie for last show..hahahaha..even at Pandan court..we learn all the dance move in mohabatein movie..kind a like 3 man show dance hindi move..plus singing of course..memories..wish we can go back time when we in college.

yesterday, make a crazy trip..went to shopping at newry for just one hour..start journey from dublin around 4..arrive at 5pm untill 6 cz the shop closed at that time..i just bought a england rugby shirt.thats it.other shops so boring for me..but i think for girls its ok.cz the outlet got principles, monsoon,gap,claire, mns and dkny jeans.probably wear the shirt in malaysia..if i wear it in dublin..prob some irish people will give me a look..horror look..takut..

Its 4 years i've been living in dublin..so many memories had in this lovely place. good or bad will be remember forever..played some good football and tag rugby here. miss my first team tag with jeff, chris, simon, suzie, and etc..played with them gave me experience how to play with irish men..Chris who work in GOAL even made a trophy of my name call Fadzli Othman's cup. One of my hobbies is collecting dvds.. i have loads of dvd in my room and also in the living room. same as my brother, we collecting all sorts of movie back in the old days or new movies..went to hmv during lunch time and bought dvd collection of steven seagal. 8 movies from the action actor for just 24.99 euro..the retail price was 89.99 euro..so can't resist that. keep browsing for more..probably want to buy all pirates movie or the bourne collection or friends from season 1 until 10..keep in mind after christmas.

speaking of christmas, i had a good christmas party on the weekend. nice dinner but only if halal..hehe..good tune by dj and what a crack nite..all directors were there and they kept impress us by showing us their humour and their moves in the dance floor..shocking when one the bosses, ian got drunk then have to exit the building by the guards...hahaha...

before the dinner, i played football for 2 hours..yup..starts training with GBE and the ivy's..began the sheffield games project.hehe..

got one hour to ready before the dinner..so just wore a simple casual office wear..not so impressive,but who cares..tired afterwards..obviously cz from 2 pm untill 5 am next morning..hehe..

rite now, i 'm having lunch on my desk..(nasi goreng kampung with telur mata kerbau)..was thinking what should i do when i get back to malaysia..so if somebody read this blog,please recommend something to do in Malaysia.mostly in KL..so i thought a few things which is:

Birthday Party aka doa selamat(insya..)
Holiday( probably penang, singapore, pangkor)
playing futsal (ada ke yg nk main)
reunion with old skool mates (mintak2 la dorang free)
shopping ( phone, perfume, cloth, watch..hehe)
eating(nk makan kat places yg cool)
chilling ( the curves, kopitiam, hartamas, souled out)
visit families.( yg terdekat je kut, rawang and btg kali)

this is just basic..i want something to do which i can remember forever..something unexpected.something beyond coolness..but i guess for 15 days, just can't get all this done in time.still depends on budget.RM 10 k should be enough..or not..

Just got back from gym..finish in time after all the report been sent to HQ..so went to gym, have a quick jog..then hit the pool..unfortunately, annoucement made that there is no hot shower tonigt..so frustrated..lucky to be in the pool..just relaxing while watching football in tele.

while relaxing, i was thinking if i was not working here, was not study in ireland, was not taking accountancy, what will happen to me..

probably become mat rempit, then study kat uitm shah alam taking science actuary..probably be fat, no sports, smoking and most of all, no injuries in my body..still working at Guess One utama.. or probably working with my family..

Grateful i choose this path..able to work, raise money by myself, bought a house in malaysia and most important repay back the things that your parents gave it to you after all this year.Amin...

I saw this game with tariq n uma in tele. thought it will be entertaining match to watch with all big names from southern hemisphere team together to match against gold coast australian. unfortunately its NOT!!!!.. really boring..so many mistakes made by the barbarians..more so, the no.10 barba Francois Steyn..stop kicking drop goal..you not GOOD..i dont know why the coach pick u as fly half in the first place. no attacking mind, poor tackle, no set play, poor touch kick..definitely not my 15 player in the world..better choose carlos spencer or butch james instead of him..

he made us scream in front of tele like crazy people. mad like dog barking. lucky i'm not in wembley stadium. for Australia, well prepared. balance team with youth and experience in the team. well worth winning. applause to them..

really made my night even worse.i'm waiting reviews post match. want to see if any agrees with comments i made.

Today is my french friend Michael's big day.. i think today he will be 23.i'm not sure.
Michael was my collegue in the office. He was in internship program made by our parent company which is Societe Generale.It was 6 month duration.during that, we really made good impression for ourselves. same hobbies, same desire and one hell good football player. I promise to him if i fit enough to play football, then i should come to paris to play with him. I'certainly keeping that promise. in fact, if i ever go to paris again, i can stay with him. no worry for accomodation anymore. Happy birthday bro!!

Lately, my family keep asking me how my cousin doing in dublin. i said ok..n everyhting under control. i didn't know what my cousin doing lately, but i keep txt her to remind herself that study is important for your future. Study untill finish your degree in MAy 09. its not long, after that, you can do what ever you wish to do.

sorri for not update..so many drama went on in my life..i guess one of my resolution list will not be happen after all the drama..rite now, i'm single..yes..after all the plan, now its vanish like a dust. its been frustrating year for me.. i have done my surgery this year..quite well actually.now i doing my physio pretty good.keep doing the cardio and etc. now i hoping to get back to the squad i miss so much this year.

for travelling, its great..i went to EURO 2008..finally..best gile..went to Vienna.the city was beautiful and the fan zone was purely fantastic..got a drink and support Turkey(islamic nations) TURKIYE!!!TURKIYE!!..went to praga..also watching the SPAIN-ITALY game in the city center...what a night.cheap food even in a 5 star restaurant..hang out in the square while watching live football. after that, went to macnhester again to watch my beloved team..yes, i was there when manchester destroy stoke 5-0..wish i stay at manchester.

for finding partner, my mum keep telling me keep your options open. n dont rush it. so i guess i keep on looking..i found one, but i dont know what will happen next. keep this one very closely but not to fast..slow and steady..but the prob is what the reaction given from her. i dont know and finger cross.

right now, i kind sleepy at work.so just writing blog..ok..continue working..chiow..

We are the Champion!!Dublin(azam ireland) won the manchester tournament for the first time.Dublin!!! what a week.

i told in the blog, that some problem occured in GBE team.so before the game, we kind dicipline ourselves by went to sleep early n no more party before the game.n so we did that and gave us massive advantage for our performance during the games.

in the group phases, as always. the first game must be a dodgy one. we got lucky to get a draw..because GBE came behind from 1-0 to 2-2.

n the rest is just history, we won all games after that n keep most of them cleen sheets. GBE 's defence did their job well by not letting the opposition side get a goal.great works guys. and the most important our strikers made a good form by scoring 17 goals during the tournament. i can t swap this team with anybody in this world..its just pure will and unity in the team.

while i just sat outside the court watching the guys play and shout for them as much as i can.

we deserved to win it after 7 years playing together.

after the games, we had dinner at a restaurant. and then went clubbing @pure..thanks to friends at manchester gave us a warm welcome. party all night long n then straight to the airport.

one of best weekend ever. Boys weekend out. play football, won n party..

Man utd 6 newcastle 0. what a great match!!yup..i was there.so my friend hakeem.he came all the way from puchong malaysia to manchester UK..just want to see the Red Devils show their worth..and they were.

thanks to jep and ija to give us place to stay..apt is near to the metrolink so it easy to go to city center and old trafford.make new frens as well (bob and zahir).nice people.played playstation 3 with them until 4 in the morning.

because ronaldo and co play so well, i bought the complete championd league jersey.i knew it should be expensive but i did not regret.because i'm a RED DEVIL fan.and that one of the thing that true fan do.

to come to see they play was absolutely perfect..saturday evening..drink, eat and enjoy the game.
thats the kind of hobby i would like to spend on saturday.imagine bring along your son as well to watch the game.prob want to bring my gf as well.but i do not know she like it or not.

My resolution for this year is

get fitter (after the knee operation)
want to take my mum to a trip to some where(swiss and austria-euro 08)
progress in my CIMA exam.(hope pass 3 papers)
back to basic stuff (pray, study, read books)
and hopefully by the end of this year i can get marry or engaged if someone agree of my proposal.

i think my resolution is simple.but i guess i hard act to follow.

just get back from Brussels..It was fun.went to Bruges the first day and Brussels the second day.the place was worth went to. Great historic building and the spend like 2 hours in 2 museum. Got to know the director operation MAS Airlines Amsterdam aka Tn Haji Musa. Infact, invite us to come to their house whenever go to Amsterdam.sounds great!!!
Had a moussels treat during lunch..so its quiet good actually. Became a bodyguard for 3 girls. felt bullied by them..but i guess, if it wasn't with them, then this trip will be boring i guess.

so feel tired today..a lot of work in the office and tomorrow is RAYA HAJI!!

PArty!!Party!!..this time i really enjoy at the party.the venue was great, the dj was absolutely fantastic and all the people having fun and got drunk..

the food was the best cz it served fish from the starter untill the desert..but i cant drink wine or champagne..also, a free bar was served n i just only order JUICE...

u cant get along with people here if u cant drink!!really its true..u can feel alone if u hold a glass of juice.

people here just want to get drunk and they just want to talk to person who can share drinks with them..

for me, i just went straight to the dance floor, worked my thing..

lucky the dj was good.he played most of it the good song..so like 30 people in the dance shake their booty and doing their stuff..

even my manager was drunk..very drunk..

cant wait for next year party..

Hi there,

i just got back from nottingham games 07 yesterday.i can feel the tiredness today in work.sleeping in the office..lucky i got loads thing to do..reporting n such.

What happen to GBE? we used to be in the qtr finals at least because of our style plays and the scoring abilities.now, we didnt qualify in next round after the group stages.
So many question why GBE from dublin cant make it with other top16 teams.

is it because luck or nottingham is a place where GBE cant win the 5 a side futsal tournament?

my heart tells me, GBE as a team fail to deliver..inconsistent of form n lack of fitness is the cause to our failure.Now , the team is averaging below ages 27.so i guess we need to increase our fitness level due increase of our age.

lack of preparation..ade ke before game, x tido lagi berehat after pkl 12 mlm.enjoy smpai pkl 2 pagi. setiap palyer x fit..main 2min je dh pancit..my guess is..the players didnt have enough sleep n tires during the tournament.

come on guys, we had been competing in this notts games 4th year in a row..still the same prob occur.x fit n enjoy lebih..

now,i wish i can play again to help the team,but...

so edinburgh is our next stop, and i swish all the guys can improve their fitness and realise their problems.

halo, ni first time aku nk ber blog..x penah lagi..so if korang rase time baca tu x paham,sori la ye..

my luck is pretty bad actually..i injured my right knee.

apsal nasib ku cmni...ape aku nk buat lepas ni..xkan nk duk umah kut..my hobby is to play sports like futsal and rugby..people always say after injured like my knee ni, u tak terror cm dulu dh..dulu i got injured my left knee.after 1 year of rehab n physio, akhirnye i bleh la main balik..time tu best gile..now, tiba2 kena right knee la plak..argh!!!!

i dont know what to do..should i go to see the doctor..kena buat operation la cmni..

nasib ku la..i wish i follow someone advice..dont play kuat sgt..now........................
